A Small Contribution Towards Brighter School Days

A school is more than a place to study. It is where children discover new possibilities, build friendships and begin to dream about their future. A welcoming learning environment can make every school day feel a little more positive and inspiring.

With this in mind, BVS Legal was proud to join the EduCare Foundation’s “Lassana Pasala” project. This meaningful initiative is dedicated to improving the learning environments of children in rural schools across Sri Lanka.

Supporting Two Rural School Communities

As part of the project, the BVS Legal team visited Embulgolla Primary School and Nuwarayaya Primary School in Wilgamuwa.

Spending time with the children and school communities gave our team the opportunity to see their needs first hand. It also reminded us that even a small contribution can bring colour, encouragement and happiness to a child’s school experience.

The paint and supplies will help create brighter and more welcoming school surroundings, while the bags and books will provide children with useful resources to support their education.

More Than a Contribution

For BVS Legal, this project was about more than providing materials. It was about supporting the everyday experiences of children and helping to create an environment where they can feel comfortable, motivated and excited to learn.

Seeing the enthusiasm of the children and the dedication of their school communities made this experience especially meaningful for our team. Moments like these remind us of the positive difference that can be created when people and organisations come together with a shared purpose.
